In what must be either very good planning or a massive coincidence, there's going to be a supermoon on Destiny's release date. That's when the moon is at its closest to Earth, and appears the largest. It's also going to be a full moon, making it even more special.

Wasn't there one around the 11th of last month too? What's the moon doing moving away and then back again?

EDIT: Unless it only counts as a Supermoon when the moon is full, and this is just the second full moon while its been close enough to be classed as such?

It's not even just common, it's likely. If the moon is closest to earth during a full moon it stands to reason the one before and after will be really close also.

On your first point, dictionaries all over already accept "literally" has also become a mark of hyperbolic comments, as opposed to just the original intent.

On your second point, if the Moon were a star, the full Moon would have Sol, Earth and the Moon "perfectly" aligned.

The phrase "the stars are aligned" never referred to actual stars actually being aligned in the first place, it means the astrological conditions are (perceived to be) good.
