I can't seem to find a clear answer for this. I've discovered that the Xbone requires 40 GB, but I wouldn't expect the 360 version to be the same.

Does anyone know?

I thought the 40 GB was if you were in a non-English locale and for English locales it was ~18 GB? [Disclaimer: I might be thinking about some other game, possibly on PS4; I can't remember.]

Well according to my download queue on PS3 the game will be 7.4GB. I would imagine it will be somewhere around there, maybe even a tiny bit smaller.

I would imagine there will be. Most games have had a digital version for the last two years or so. I can't guarantee it though of course.

Actually go read the FAQ for the digital upgrade and it mentions in there the 360 digital version. So I think we can confirm there definitely is one.

MS is shitty about day one digital on 360 most of the time. It happens sometimes for big games, but there's been like a week of lag time on average. I would think Destiny will warrant it though, especially since they seem upset about all the PS advertising, anything to help sales.

Yeah it's true, but they've usually been pretty good with the really big releases. GTA V was available day one as well as COD: Ghosts. I would honestly be really really surprised if they didn't have it available day one.

Just so I'm clear, there's no digital download for 360 right now, but there possibly will be one on Tuesday? I was planning on just swinging by the store to buy it, but I would rather get it digital if I can upgrade for free.

If it holds up to past big releases I would be on yes. Really you have nothing to lose though. Turn on your 360 on Tuesday, see if it's available, if not run to the store.
