...appears to just be the initial install file. Doesn't look like it's going to let me download the rest until the 9th.

...it does download the whole thing in background. Check your System Storage Management. You'll see 21GB total, with the game being 18GB.
Now that countdown timer is going to tease me mercilessly for the next three days...
