I had to contact Microsoft online support to cancel and refund my Digital Guardian Edition on Xbox One. I can't handle this hype...
I actually just wanted to take advantage of the free digital upgrade. So I'm going to buy the game on the 360 tonight and then hopefully not need to re-download the game on my Xbox One... though I'll sadly miss out on the DGE perks, it's worth it for me to not have to buy the full game again on 360.
I just wonder what time the digital edition will be available on the Xbox store. Hoping it's not 3AM EST !

There is (or more accurately will be) a Digital Guardian Edition on 360 as well. So you should be able to purchase that as soon as it's up and then unlock the full DGE on your XboxOne as planned.

I hope you're right! Based on the content of the FAQ that Bungie posted about the digital upgrade, they only mentioned the DGE on the PS3/PS4 upgrade section, and specifically omitted that version for the X360/XO section. I was basing that to mean that a DGE would simply not exist in the Xbox 360 universe.
