If I could go back 18 months I think I'd setup a petition and proactively get as many signatures as possible.
A real bummer that they decided not to do it on PC for launch.
[Also feels like a "non-article", Kuchera seems to do a lot of these "easy-statement" opinion pieces these days, don't remember them as much from when he was at Ars Technica].

I think it's a great way for people who aren't really on top of the news who are maybe checking polygon right now because they heard this big Destiny thing is happening to get up to speed.
