Near-life size Fallen Skiff (Destiny)
Bungie (I presume) is building something really cool outside their studio. Here's the few glimpses I've seen on Twitter. Anyone have better photos?

A week ago today Malagate and I walked across that exact spot to see if that coffee shop was open.
There is a part of me that is glad I'm not there today. Check this out:

Hey that's me at the far right on top of the building!
What we didn't understand is why they took so long to start putting that thing together. There was supposed to be a parachute jump at 11:30, they closed the street and put out a huge tricorn logo that they would land on. It wasn't until after 11am before they began to put the pieces together. They should have been working on it early in the morning. If the jump would have happened, it wouldn't have been finished in time. It was rumored that the ship was part of the show along with the jump.
Low clouds prevented the jump from happening. The jump plane made probably about ten passes - in the photo I am following the plane with my camera. It was a good decision to abort the jump IMO.
