Horrible ambient sound! (Destiny)
Omfg this game is essentially unplayable for me. That stupid ambient noise in the background is honestly unbearable. A constant, awful, super high pitched ringing that never goes away and there's no option for decreasing that horrible fucking noise. For fucks sakes. Please make that noise go away. It changed me from a fan to a hater within ten minutes because of how fucking intolerable it is.

It wasn't in the beta. It's the only game I own that does this. It's seriously painful. I have to play music on my stereo to drown out the ringing in order to play the game.
has anyone else heard this?
I'm going to start playing tonight, and I always use gaming headphones. Surely this is a fluke, as no one else has said anything.

That's true, though I think that was just Marty's style. I don't have a problem with the lack of these option when the sound is mixed as well as the Bungie games. Halo 4 showed how bad it could get with its almost inaudible music.

Thanks for the reply/confirmation. I agree that if the audio is mixed well, it's not a problem. But during the Destiny beta I often had trouble hearing the dialog, even in cutscenes.
