I'm hoping that as the IP progresses, the story will be more solidified. Reading the Grimoire Cards on bnet helped; however, it's mostly lore and backstory. It gives a vague idea of why what you're doing in game is important and how it impacts the universe, but it leaves a lot to the player to infer.
