That sinking feeling... (Destiny)
I too had that awful sense of 'something has gone wrong' around the time the beta came out. I tried not to be too negative, but the game has some very real flaws.
Im still enjoying the hell out of it, but the idea that no one at Bungie said "Hey, umm, guys. This isnt exactly what we've made it out to be" is worrying. Hubris? Fear of reprimand? I mean, someone must have been thinking it.
That all said, Im the kind of guy who likes lists, and I've been doing maths, making spreadsheets and scraping lore from gear and NPC conversations since Wednesday. This kind of game is perfect for my particular brand of collector-itis. For everyone else though? Well, you've seen the reviews.
