Smart Bounties (Destiny)

Today's daily bounties:

Do 5 salvage matches
Participate in 10 probe capture

But guess what? Can't play salvage today.

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Why on Earth can't we play the PvP type we want whenever we want? This is maddening. I would play salvage ANYWAY, but can't. Even the Fun parts of Destiny are locked out.

This is why people say things like "Never has a game tried so hard to make me stop playing it".

Just drop the useless bounties and pick up new ones.

Unattainable bounties is blunder for sure, but remember Double XP weekends in Halo 3? Same basic thing, the events have a better drop rate.

But yeah, the inability to even do a custom game of it sucks, that made up for it in Halo.

I grabbed both of those bounties earlier tonight just to be disappointed by not being able to play Salvage. I haven't even played it yet, I don't understand the reason for removing it.

Indeed that was annoying - mainly due to loading times etc.

Started in Orbit > Loading screen to tower > go to bounty guy and pick up Salvage bounties > go back to orbit with fireteam > select crucible and realise Salvage isn't available (hmm awesome) > loading screen back to tower > switch out useless bounties for relevant ones > loading screen back to orbit > finally start matchmaking for Control.
