Why does my Guardian get involved? (Destiny)

Why do we even bother helping the Speaker? My undead Exo Titan never asks ONE question to the Speaker. My Exo seems to know a lot more than I do during the plot. So I have some theories.

Ghost and Guardian may have some sort of "hivemind". They both turn out dead whenever you find a slain Guardian, and you never ask eachother questions.

Or worse, we are a thrall/puppet for our Ghost. Our souls being held hostage, kept from sleep and hunger, an undead husk of a legend. It only makes sense, nobody sleeps.

"What can I do?"

:)

Prince Pedantic strikes again!

Zombies don't need reasons. They just need to be pointed in the right direction. They're a weapon.

There is actually a really interesting Grimoire card about this. If you have Ghost Fragment: Legends (under Allies: Legends and Mysteries).
