Seems plausible.
Bungie Easter-eggs are obvious; like Rex or the Food Nipple Grunt. They're not vague geometric resemblances.
Next you'll see an Elite in the sulphuric acid clouds of Venus...

Umm... no they're not, not always. That's why they are eggs.
Next you'll see an Elite in the sulphuric acid clouds of Venus...
However, I agree that this is not an egg.
People will see and makeup'eggs' wherever they want to.
People will find meaning where there is none or make up their own. This is just a building.
Besides, if they have some nod to MC, I'd bet my ass it wouldn't be to the Halo 4 style of MC.
