Moving up the raid (Sept 30th) (Destiny)

by Cody Miller @, Music of the Spheres - Never Forgot, Thursday, September 25, 2014, 13:41 (3949 days ago)

Everybody here seems to be progressing pretty quickly. I think waiting till october to do a DBO raid is too long!

How about we start this tuesday (Sept 30th) ? If you replied to the last one, let me know if this new time will work, and if you haven't, reply here to get started.

I'll still lead one on the 14th, so you have two options.

Same rules apply, 2hrs minimum per night. 7pm pst start tentative.

Wait, so you don't have to tackle the whole thing in one sitting but can take it checkpoint by checkpoint over multiple sessions? Awesome! I was fearing I would never be able to do the raid as I can't set aside more than 3-4 hours at a time. This is good news if I'm understanding this correctly!

Correct. It saves the checkpoints to the fireteam leader. So you can leave, come back the next day and be where you left off, so long as the same person is the leader.

It WAS pretty awesome doing one long session from 2am to 8:30am though :-p

My understanding is that this is the case... with the caveat that your progress will reset to the start every Tuesday at midnight (Bungie time).

-- Steve doesn't expect to get through on his first try, actually, since he can only do raid-like stuff on weekends.
