Wait, so you don't have to tackle the whole thing in one sitting but can take it checkpoint by checkpoint over multiple sessions?

My understanding is that this is the case... with the caveat that your progress will reset to the start every Tuesday at midnight (Bungie time).

-- Steve doesn't expect to get through on his first try, actually, since he can only do raid-like stuff on weekends.
