200 is the Mark ceiling? (Destiny)
Am I crazy, or is 200 the upper limit for Marks? I'm pretty sure I 'lost' ~30 V-marks this past week before I realized this. At which point I blew my hard earned marks on a new speeder Sparrow (which I then upgraded thanks to Xur :D). Anyway, I don't recall this ever being stated explicitly. Nor goes the game notify you, unlike glimmer-related stuff (eg, you can't cash in House Banners to Master Jerk if you're >200 away from 25k glimmer)
Also, does anyone know if there are Exotic Sparrows? I wonder if their speed is maxed out...I love zipping around Mars on my rare-turned-legendary Sparrow. Makes searching for Iron all the more fun and less like a total grind.
Also also, does some of the Fallen and Cabal seem 5th Element-y to anyone else? Sadly, Milla Jovovich has yet to spawn from a Cabal I've had the pleasure of putting down with my various weapons :(

There is a cap, but I don't recall what it is

It is.
You're capped at earning 100 of each per week, and you can only have 200 of each in your inventory. If you want to earn more, create a second and third character. Marks and their caps are not shared between them.

I have 200
I went FWC early and now have 200 V-marks and no rep. gotta earn dat rep

Bullshit
You should be able to save them up if there's nothing you want to buy. That's bullshit. I was hoping to save them up so that when the DLC hits I can just buy what I need and not have to grind BUT NO.
I wish Bungie would stop making shitty decisions.
The only reason...
Because I've taken it upon myself to play Devil's Advocate to the Cody Miller bandwagon... *puts on official hat*
The only good reason I can see for putting a cap on something like that would be to minimize the impact that updates and tweaking to the system might make. For example, say someone spent 40 hours a weeks for three weeks grinding only marks, then Bungie fixes a bug where the end result is that the marks are worth half as much. That person would feel incredibly gyped, yes? If there is a cap that forces a player into diversification early on, then the risk they face due to the inevitable churn in the first month wouldn't have as great an effect.
*takes hat off*
The cap is dumb and should be raised. I'm the kind of player that doesn't spend a dime until I actually need to in order to progress, and will otherwise sit on my earnings to be used at a later date on a more powerful/worthwhile item.
I have 200
Capped out at 200 Vanguard marks and I can't spend any of them since I put all my bounty rep toward FWC to rush level 3.
Kind of lame.

Wow. That is beyond lame. I hope Bungie addresses this
