Fireteam Charlie has done a great job today! We had to wrap up for today (I had dinner plans with families :P), but we are planning to take on the final boss tomorrow night.

Stupidly, ridiculously hard. It's almost negating the fun factor for me. I hope in the future we get to see some of these gameplay and level design ideas implemented in a story mode than can be played solitary. A mix of team raids and smaller solo raids would be nice for me.

I like Destiny as a relaxing game. I like to play most games to relax. This raid is one of the more stressful gaming experiences I've had. It's great that I've got an awesome community to run through it with to make it more bearable.

We got stuck dealing with some pesky Gatekeepers but we're getting there!

I'm certianly having a lot of fun despite it being really really hard! I think we just need to refine our stratagy a bit and we'll push through!

Fireteam Alpha broke upon Atheon as waves upon the beach. And we kept coming. Again and again and again.

That jerk is going down one of these days! We have the fight figured out, now it's just a matter of execution… Great job, Alpha -- I really want to get back in there and knock that out with all of you!

Of course! And no worries, Real Life is why I had to cut out at 6:45, too. :)

That was a ton of fun but too bad we couldn't make it to the end boss. Boy do I love that Pocket Infinity rifle now! Anyway, I work nights but hopefully we can all get on early afternoon or so either tomorrow or Monday, I'll do what it takes to crack the Vault.

Last boss will probably take an hour or more, depending how rusty we are ;D

At some point Xenos decided to backtrack and discovered that a chest that we had opened earlier had respawned! So, after 5 and a half minutes (literally, I have it recorded) spent getting everyone back to the chest (and avoiding the Gorgons), this is what happened:

Otherwise all you'd have to do is keep dying and dying and dying and reloading checkpoints and getting endless things.

Our intended fire team leader, durandal117 had severe network problems and had to drop. We went back to the tower for a bit while we found a substitute. This allowed us to fix a few equipment problems and we then were able to tackle the door again and made it in. I experienced my own network problems for a while but was able to get back in in time to beat the first boss. We then made it through to the final boss, but we' were forced to call it quits for the day when several of us had to leave for real life activities. We agreed to start again at the same time Sunday.

I had a blast yesterday, and wish you happy raiding today.

Looking forward to doing this again in the future.

Sorry, 7 is going to difficult for me today, I could probably swing 5 though.

Many a battle merged in the 13 hours we conquered. Every death made us stronger. Every call was made. Sadly not all heros felt the call to arms. You may recall that in our intro we mentioned a certain Holybeastwood. Sadly he was a no show, and amongst my every call he left no note. Be it because his will was shattered from surviving the Raid in the past - or even the Hulu Plus Aliens grip, his light was not able to come to our aid. A pity - for if we had his level 29 clout I know with out a doubt we would have beaten The Vault of Glass last night.

Seriously. :/

As it currently stands we are in the Vault of Glass, fighting Atheon and it's grip upon time. Not only that, but we also are fighting times grip upon us, for after tonight this weeks play will be, as far as I can tell, done. I will post here again if the fates choose otherwise.

All said - I would like to thank the following "6th players" for joining us in our journey towards the vault of glass. You all are Heros for your action upon us in aid.

It ain't happenin' Echo. At least not tonight - of which I'm about 85% sure with no ETA. I'll try again tomorrow before the slate is cleaned. I know that means it's probably a wash for most of us since Mondays will do that. If you are willing, able, and on - I'll send a message to ya to see if you are still up to it.

Definitely not going to happen for me tomorrow.
