Custom emblems would only result in crudely-drawn vulgarities running around the Tower.

Heck, people found ways to do it even with Bungie limiting emblem options. Where there's a will...

(Same goes for custom handles.)

During the second DBO team's breaching of the vault, we almost received help from this happy fellow... Bungie's always been able to apply filters to user naming/description tools. Considering there's already a "Report" function, maybe there'll be reasons have such a feature in the future. Couldn't be worse than what we're getting now...
