Weekly Nightfall on Winter's Run. Mostly on my own. LordOwen dropped in to help me with the boss. We get him 95% of the way there really quickly. LordOwen goes down. I get stuck underneath the platform with the boss right on top of me. Armour piercing rounds might work, but I don't have any. Switch to Bladedancer, camo and run the hell out of there. I get this close to dying:

That massive red dot is a Shank right behind me. So glad I'd spec'ed maximum armour for this fight. Boss chases me. I run up to the entrance way. Make a couple of camo runs back at him with the minions swarming towards me. Finally my sticky grenade finishes him off.

WOAH the adrenaline!

Great way to end the night. Flaming heads the rest of the week. Earned the Thunderlord :D

Here's my story:

Friend died right outside the hidey hole. Dude on top of me. Have armor piercing gun but not specced up to that point yet. Run outside, die immediately. Luckily, I have a sunsinger, so I revive, and go revive my friend. I haul ass outta there. We both die to a stomp.

I rage quitted and haven't turned it on again.

Funkmon only has one friend. And Narcogen, who's on at like 4 AM.

That was a hell of a fight. And I was killed juuuuuuuuust out of reach! I like to think I did manage to help in death by spotting and calling out where the boss was; every little bit helps!

And a fun followup to that: Just soloed the 28 Weekly, and the spot under the platform worked for me, so long as you kill the sniper bots and vandals that might get a bead on you. It also reeeeeeeeally helps if you have Ice Breaker; regenerating ammo is a godsend on this one.
