Is the Crucible the Disney Land of Raiders? (Destiny)
I'll preface up front that I am terrible at the Crucible, and worse now that I'm working on the Thorn bounty and have to use my fusion rifle and MG that do void damage, but I'm giving it the college try. The big thing I've noticed is that Raid groups seem to be pretty common, although never on my side. I think I've faced off a half dozen times now against other teams that all have the raid shader and the occasional mythocast going.
The nice thing is that if I manage to hit them with a full fusion burst they still die, but my teammates tend to see one or two mythocasts and bail, leaving me in the usual 3:6 or 2:6. This makes getting that stupid bounty much harder because inevitably I'm facing two or more well geared players at once.
Of course there really isn't a good way to fix this, except if Bungie could take the death penalty off the bounty.

I haven't found the mythocast to be a formidable weapon in the hands of my enemies, to be honest. Same with Suros.
I use a maxed out Shadow Price, and LOVE it, and the only weapons I feel I routinely lose to are Silvered Hushwind (seriously, it's a blue, but people with it seem to just smoke me) and Grim Citizen III (fortunately there aren't too many of these running around at the moment because they require Crucible 3 or a lucky drop to get). Also, really good hand cannoneers are always nasty since they can 2-3 shot you fairly quickly.

Are handcannons like the old pistol in Halo, 2 to the body & 1 to the head? I love the handcannons in destiny PvE (hated them in the beta). I haven't really done much PvP & the little I have I felt that handcannons were not a go-to gun in the crucible. I'd be very happy to find out I'm wrong!
