Western Bungie.org get together?
by Xenos , Shores of Time, Monday, March 04, 2013, 22:26 (4290 days ago)
So I live in the western half of the United States and have noticed that most of the get togethers and LANs are in the eastern half of the United States. So this post is mostly to gauge interest in a theoretical western located event. Let me know.

Man I've been trying to get over to the East for some time now, but for whatever reasons I keep missing out on B.org events. I for one would love a LAN or what have you over in the Western states. The viability of my attendance would skyrocket, one hundredfold.

Man, it's been a while. I've been out of touch since about 2007 but deanero's place in Orange County was the spot for some legendary Halo LANs back in the early 2000s, especially after the fanfests when all the Bungie folk, Claude and the east coasters were out here as well. We had a group of locals and HBO regulars and that got together pretty frequently.
Xbox Live changed everything, but I'd be down for a SoCal meetup one of these days if there's anyone around.

DUDE, I'd be there! I don't have a lot of time to travel to the farther LANs, but Orange County is my place!

Now, full disclosure, I live in Utah, so unless someone in California wants to host (or I can find someone I know who is crazy enough to let me host it at their place), I would have to have it there.

Utah
It already happened. It's too late. It didn't have to be like this. You could have stopped it.
It's ogre.
But there are currently whispers of a possible DBO Beach Party on the west coast in the works. Reports are unconfirmed, however.
PAX Prime as well.

I will definitely be at PAX Prime.

Hopefully Bungie will be there in an official capacity also.
I will probably be half-there again.

Sufficiently there to meet up, but insufficiently there to technically be involved at PAX.
B.O and PAX go together like BO and PAX.

Does somewhere in Southern California work for people?
by UnrealCh13f , San Luis Obispo, CA, Tuesday, March 05, 2013, 12:16 (4290 days ago) @ Xenos
Because I think that a good portion of H/DBO users from the West Coast are already in that particular area.
Just a thought.
