My Crucible wishlist (hint hint) (Destiny)

  • More Lord Shaxx lines.

"Double down! Triple down! Space magic! Well done, Warlock"
Get a triple kill with storm fist or higher:
    "Grind them into dust titan."

I love hearing Shaxx commentate during matches and I want more of that.

  • CTF, Juggernaut, and Oddball modes.

I think this is self explanitory

  • More/better maps and an explanation of the design philosophy behind Destiny's maps.

They don't seem on par with other Bungie games, and while there is no map I absolutely hate, a lot of them seem somewhat bland, in addition they lack areas that you can call out easily.

"

Balance is getting addressed when it comes to weapons and I have no problems with supers, I just think crucible is somewhat barebones and I really want more of it. I love crucible.

I'd love for Deej or whoever is incharge of pvp just to keep us updated on future plans for expanding the crucible and the philosophy behind the map designs.

P.S. more Shaxx lines

Your last point really was an epiphany for me. Every Halo map had obvious colors, landmarks or identifying structures that made callouts easy to learn and use. While these maps feel 'real' or whatever with the uniform designs, that is a fairly crucial piece left out of the maps we are working with now.

Not like we can talk to our team anyway....

There are plenty of identifying markers in the maps (even though I can't tell you any, hell, I can barely remember the map names).

I'm not saying that it is impossible to label certain areas of the maps, I'm just saying that the art direction in the MP maps seems to be more toward realism than spatial awareness. EVERY halo map had that weird purple or green room or something, ANYTHING to differentiate one hallway from the other. Coloring is not only important to break up monotone color schemes, it helps (me at least) to break down the map in my head.

Not sure if my last comment came across as intended. I wholeheartedly agree with you. The lack of easily identifiable areas is one thing that I don't care for in the PvP side of the game. The only easy way to identify areas seems to be calling out Control points. It would be great to have a color coded identifier like they did in Halo. I'll just add that to the list of things I don't care for in PvP.

I agree. The Destiny maps feel more like Call of Duty maps than like Halo maps.

I've decided the vehicles map on Mars is the worst, and I'd gladly trade it for any of the maps from Halo 1.
