On Changing items in Investment Games (Destiny)

Short version - The Hearthstone method would probably be the kindest way to allow players to recoup some of their money and time. Understandably, Bungie can't backtrack ALL the effort put into maxing out the weapon...but at least returning the 'standard' glimmer/special materials and ascendant materials you've locked into it, would be nice, IF they decide to Nerf or kill a weapon or armor after the fact. They don't HAVE to...I kinda expect some sort of maintenance on the stuff, and I'm very happy they are continuing to do so.

I'm actually pretty happy with the auto rifle balance. The Auto Rifles still feel great at all but long range, mostly because they chose to nerf the Auto Rifles a little and buff the Scout Rifles a little, instead of nerfing/buffing one a lot. My Regime is still a beast in PvP, it's just not unstoppable.
