Why I didn't post it here (Destiny)

I knew someone was going to be defensive about Destiny so I opted not to post my writings here initially.

I came to that conclusion after spending weeks replaying the Vault of Glass. I enjoyed playing the game up to that point, but once I saw the progression end and there was no incentive to keep me playing anymore I decided to write about how I viewed that system as a whole. It doesn't matter how long you played for. I'm not familiar with loot based games like MMOs or Diablo in general, so I tried exploring it to its furthest lengths before making any conclusions.

My mentioning of the time spent was not a complaint that I wasted my time. It was stated to show that my opinion had been formed over a long period of time getting to know the game and how it works. I had fun playing Destiny. Yes, I have put the game down in all instances where no one is specifically asking me to play with them. It took me that long to be sure how I felt about the game wasn't because I was missing something, and I wasn't just referring to some half-informed impression of what the game was.

I don't really feel like I deserve to be laughed at for that.
