Worth getting Truth? Not sure if needed. (Destiny)

I was lucky enough to get Gjallahorn this past week so I'm hesitant to immediately abandon it for a different rocket. Truth's "aggresive tracking" sounds better than Gjallahorn's "tracking" though, and the proximity detonation sounds useful as well.

Any thoughts on which is better or which use cases each has?

Gjallarhorn is my favorite Exotic weapon. If the rocket doesn't kill the target, the wolfpack almost certainly will. And the damage for each of the submunitions can stack with both Weapons Of Light and Time's Vengeance, leading to moments like this. In Crucible, if the initial blast does kill a target and enemies are nearby, the pack will track them instead, and Triple Kills with a single shot are not uncommon in Control, where players tend to travel in packs. The best part is that even if you don't do lethal damage with the blast, escape isn't easy...

Truth does have some upsides, as even the most agile of enemies will have a very hard time shaking it once locked, especially with the proximity detonation... But I'd rather stick with damage output and a near-guarantee of kills in almost any scenario (A single Gjallarhorn shot will often kill a Nightfall Wizard, with the splash damage harming the others too).

Right now I've got Hezen Vengence (solar) and Unfriendly Giant (void). Feel like the tracking won't do me much extra in PvE, and I don't play PvP enough to justify any purchase just for that game mode. Plenty of strange coins to snag Truth and whatever comes next week - worth picking up Truth?
