No dragons! With the trailer footage showing what looked like a dragon flying around and a gun that referenced dragons in its help text I was just sure they would be there. Oh well, I'm having fun anyway.
Lots of cool things we saw in the trailer...
...didn't make it into the game, like dragons, exploration, the Reef, or a plot.
Related: where are the moon spiders? There is a room on the moon filled with cob webs and another filled with silky egg sacs.
There are cocoons in one of the entrances to hive...

So, those dragons are in the game. You just never interact with them. You can see them flying around Venus.

Yeah but you can't go all Beowulf on their asses, and that's what disappointment is born from.
