Anyone unable to sign in on XBone right now? (Destiny)

Timeline of events:

1. Earlier today during my lunch break I booted up my 360 and downloaded the patch, no problem. I did 360 first because I wanted to be able to play (briefly) and check out some of the changes, and the 360 download was smaller.

2. Once the patch download completed on the 360 and I'd loaded up my character, I turned on the XBone. Started Destiny, and pressed A to play. It came up with a chimpanzee error saying there's a problem with my Bungie.net account.

3. I switched back to the 360 to find that I'd been returned to the title screen (signed out). No biggie, I expected that might be the case (though I'd hoped that I'd be able to stay signed in on the 360). Problem is, I'm still unable to sign in on the XBone.

4. Shut the 360 down completely, restart the XBone, still can't sign in.

I have since learned via the BungieHelp Twitter account that the XBone patch hasn't gone live yet, but it makes no mention of whether that should be causing sign-in errors (or whether most users are simply still playing on the old version). It might be that everyone got booted from the game as scheduled, and we simply can't get back in until the patch is available. But it's not at all clear to me whether that is what's happening.

The BungieHelp account now says the update's gone live, and if I launch Destiny on my XBone I'm getting a prompt to update the game via the XBL mechanism (as opposed to the in-game downloader, which is what happened on 360). That prompt was not happening before. It's still downloading, but my hope is that once the download finishes all will be well.

Confirmed. Once the download finished, I launched the game and all was normal, except for some odd framerate issues.

360: Game is straight up crashing

Flings me back to the Xbox Dashboard after I play for about a minute.

Still trying but . . . yeah. That sucks a lot.
