What other secondary weapons would be a cool add to the mix?

I think a short-mid range flame thrower would be cool. Make it have solar damage and a slow burning effect and I think it would be great to go clear some thralls out.

What about an over-powered Tazer? let's say an Arc Burn lightening type weapon... maybe a Tesla gun?

or how about an energy draining Void weapon? Slow moving fog or orbs.

What other concepts do you think would be relevant and fun to use? I'm personally looking forward to wielding the sword again come DLC time.

How about a modified fusion file that behaves more like this? http://marathongame.wikia.com/wiki/Zeus_Class_Fusion_Pistol Weaker immediate firing, but you can hold a charge (for a short period before blowing up) and release it for damage similar to current fusion rifles. Perhaps if you get hit while holding a charge it discharges in your face.

I was just thinking about this last night while going to sleep (I know, it's a problem). I'd LOVE to have a Zeus-Class Fusion Rifle in Destiny. Imagine how awesome it would look and sound with 19 years of tech improving it!

I'd like to see regular semi-automatic pistols return as secondary weapons. Low impact, low stability, medium range, high fire rate and high reload with at least an eight shot magazine.

A heavy weapon idea could be a laser cannon, kinda like the sentinel beam from Halo. It would have a low charge rate, high impact, high range, medium stability and low reload. If you can keep this thing on your target you can dish out some major damage. That said, it may fall into the same niche as the HMG somewhat...
