Gave Up on the MIDA Multi-Tool (Destiny)
It's a solid gun I think... I just couldn't use it right. No mater how hard I tried I was terrible at killing with it. Something about the fast firing rate vs the low damage per shot vs the funny little arrow used for a crosshair just didn't work for me. I've switched to The Aries Nemesis X4 and am much happier. On the bright side I get an exotic shard in a few days :)

That makes me a little sad, as it's one of my favorites now. But, to each their own I suppose. It does seem to fit a certain playstyle - I love it on my hunter, but I'm not sure I'd like it on my warlock.

It's certainly nothing personal against the gun. I think maybe I'm too used to pulse riles and the upward drift giving me headshots... or something. :)

I have as well. MIDA is the only exotic primary I've gotten, and I was very underwhelmed. I have a 'Crypt Keeper' Legendary SR that honestly seems better...or at least equal to MIDA. So when I got Plan C 5 weeks ago, and Invective 3 weeks ago, my Exotic has been my secondary.
Also, the legendary Hand Cannon 'The Devil You Know' puts MIDA to shame. I think the only thing I miss is the radar while zoomed.
Everyone here talks about so many cool primary Exotics, I feel pretty meh about them.
Whoops, forgot about Universal Remote. I was pretty underwhelmed by it too.

I tried it last night and found it to be pretty cool. The sexy little soft tap tap taps of power, the quick rate of fire, the huge clip size--I found myself almost never reloading that's how big it was. Yeah, the arrow thing really throws me off, but the explosive rounds really help with damage, to the point of where headshots aren't too important.

My MIDA, purchased from Xur, doesn't have explosive rounds! (I'm not sure it matters too much. From what I've seen explosive rounds half the damage done with the bullet part of the bullet and add that damage back as a small AoE explosion.)

There's some kind of mistake or misunderstanding here. Exotics always have the same upgrade tree. I'm not sure what Morpheus thinks he saw, but it wasn't explosive rounds from a Mida.
What Mida does have, at least since the last patch, is a tendency to stagger enemies with nearly every round.

Which makes it awesome for fighting phalanxes. It's my warlock's go to weapon on Mars.

That Was My Mistake.
I was thinking of the Naraka SR5, got mixed up. My bad! I guess the staggering combined with the extra power made me think that the rounds were explosive.
