Did they switch someone out mid-raid?

Maybe someone had to go back to real life before they finished. :P

That... would make a lot of sense. I don't know why that didn't occur to me haha.

VOG took like 10+ hours right? :P

Probably has more to do with players knowing what to expect in general from a Raid, where the Vault of Glass was a mystery. There have also been datamined leaks regarding some of the Raid elements.

That may have something to do with it. Now that we have an idea of what type of stuff the raid can throw our way, I imagine the thought process in working it out is more streamlined.

Players have been taught to think in a different way when it comes to raiding, and they have better tools at their disposal fo the challenges they face.

This wasn't surprising to me in the least. Especially since I imagine as the 2nd of the 3 planned raids I bet Crota's end had the least time in the oven.

Haha, I think it's likely down to a whole bunch of reasons.

The PrimeGuard team had players between 26 and 28 if I remember correctly.

This team is comprised of 29 and 30s, so more players nearer the difficulty level. Plus they no doubt have fancier weapons this time!

I think it's probably more of a factor of the first groups on VoG were barely 26 and probably without a full suite of legendary and exotic gear, where's now we're all level 30 badasses with mythoclasts and gjallarhorns.

Although, perhaps the most surprising thing to me about Invigorate's stats show that 4 of the 7 (and really 4 of the 6 if you don't count the guy that was only in there long enough to get 16 kills) were level 29s and not 30.(?)

From my understanding, they started as 30s and equiped raid gear during (or immediatelly after) the completion, dropping them to 29.

Easier to deduce, harder to execute.
