Buy it. It sucks but it's bound to get a huge buff since it's so incredibly horrible.

I got this for the Nightfall Tuesday night. It's really interesting. I want it to be super awesome, but it's just not practical for PvE. I'll probably keep playing with it occasionally just because it is so different, but I agree--buff incoming.

Cody's Do I buy it guide (No land beyond)
I bought it just because it reminds me of a Mosin Nagant, and I assume the name is a reference to Vasily Zaystev who famously used one in the Battle of Stalingrad. "For us there was no land beyond the Volga."
Hopefully it gets a buff because my hunter really wants to use it.

So what else does he have?

Cody's Do I buy it guide (No land beyond)
I didn't know any of that. I just did some reading and caught up, so thanks for that!

Bought it...
Almost without thinking because I wanted it as soon as I saw it released. I don't even care that much about its functionality yet, I just LOVE the form and look of it. I have an old Lee Enfield 303 bolt-action, and also a replica 50-cal blackpowder muzzle-loader, and I love the idea of shooting something like those in a futuristic game like Destiny. :D

I wonder since there's no scope, do you see glint on the receiving end?

Everyone I've heard talk about it says yes.

Next time we meet, comrade, we shall shoot this most glorious rifle of Mother Russia.

No land beyond
First off. Totally called this.
Secondly, I can't help but feel the reason for iron sights and no scope is bungies way to give players quick scoping?
Is anyone else feeling like this ?

Bah! That would've been a fantastic trade-off for it's... unique nature.

Eh, it's alright.

I was referring more to the quote itself, since we like CoH :)

It seems really good actually.
Oneshot kill in crucible if you go for the head.
I'd change mulligan to unflinching though.
