Some sort of Heroic Strike or Nightfall De-buff? (Destiny)

Maybe I missed it in an update but has there been any kind of damage reduction to your weapons for Heroic strikes or the Nightfall recently? Last week I had a lot more trouble than usual with the Nightfall but just chalked it up now being a level 30 strike instead of a 28. Tonight however I ran the Heroic strike at level 28 (not 30) and it turns out that my Gjallahorn can no longer one-shot the Gold-Health-Barred Minotaurs like it used to do.

The last time I ran this strike at 28 I was level 28 myself. I am not 30 with a much more upgraded Gjallahorn and it is like it got nerfed. I know the Dark Below is uping damage and levels all up in the piece, but these should still be level 28 enemies no? Did I miss something or am I going crazy?

They did indeed increase the difficulty of Weekly strikes if you're doing them solo. It was a pretty dumb decision, since they're nearly impossible to do solo now, and it's pretty irritating to be doing 300% damage to an enemy and still have a tough time bringing him down since he can kill you in two shots...

Yeah, I've actually done the Nexus strike solo since that change. It was a couple weeks ago right? Unless I'm forgetting and Solar damage was on last time, I think something must have changed since then.

Yeah going solo, still seems different though, hhm.

Me and two others did both strikes back to back, and the Weekly was actually harder to us than Nightfall.

I thought so too. The lack of a burn skull makes the tough enemies take longer to kill.

Except for those damn Nexus minotaurs. I have a group of friends who have actually got stuck on them for over 2 hours before even releasing Sekrion.

This one is doable, but you have to REALLY be up on checking for the anti-cheese minotaur since he can kill you in two shots as you say. It's pretty much a race against heavy ammo cooldowns… One truth Rocket can take him out.

Does it still? I'm under the impression that a Gjallahorn rocket plus the Wolfpack swarm would always kill him with one shot. I had been doing the race against heavy ammo cooldowns . . . but last night was completely different. A Gjallahorn rocket would only take him down to half health.

Yeah they just hide as soon as you get a shot off on them. Makes it nearly impossible to actually kill them.

A 331 Truth kills the anti-cheese minotaur in one hit, thanks to void burn, plus the shield being void. 300 leaves it with just a smidgen of health.

Yeah! Strikes should be easy for one person to do!

I mean, it's not like Strikes were designed for a team, with the difficulty set accordingly. Any guardian should be able to walk in off the street solo and burn through a heroic strike without too much difficulty.

Heh, I can be a lot shittier than that ;)
In truth, your title confused me as it wasn't preceded with "Was there..." which would have more strongly signified that you were asking about the possibility of something existing, instead of how I interpreted it, which was as a suggestion for the future.

Now I take some of the blame, because I attributed some of the responses as your own opinion because I'm slow and simple minded. It was something more like this:
Internet: "A bunch of Opinions!"
Earendil: "Internet, you're being silly again".

Sorry about that :)

Wow....

Ah yeah, if I remember right I left it off because of the Subject character limit. Or I just didn't think about it :)
