I've had the exotic bounty "A Dubious Task" for quite some time. Last night after finishing the Weekly I decided to finally do the crucible section of the bounty. This was to be the first time I took any character other than my Titan into the crucible & I wrecked house with my Hunter. I nearly got the first step of the bounty done on my first match with a 3.25 kdr. This from a guy who typically runs in the 0.8-1.2 kdr range. To top it off this was all by myself, nobody I knew was with me. It was a great experience for me, I even got a Lone Wolf medal! Maybe I won't hate PvP as much now...

I'm mainly a PS4 guy, but I do have one character (lvl 9) on the 360/xb1 platforms. I've run twice with a group >= 3 & it was actually a lot of fun. Maybe I will join you all sometime, tho' I will miss my "The Last Word".

Oh gee, the whole thing just felt amazing to me. I wonder if it was just a fluke. :)

One delightful moment was my 1 postmortem medal, I died & watched my grenade shards home in on the guy as he ran toward my ghost while slowly getting hit by the stream of grenade fragments & dying just before I respawned.

Another memorable moment was Tossing a grenade to flush the enemies out of cover only to be gunned down by my Last Word. Great fun.

Oh, except you probably won't have enough strange coins. That's too bad. I sure wish Bungie had allowed chars to xfer from PS to Xbox and vice-versa. Sure you won't be able to use platform exclusives but as long as you have alternative weapons why not? :(

What if you don't have anything in a slot but an exclusive, though?

Drop in the Kvostov if it's a primary weapon slot (or some other low level gear). :P

Actually, if you only had platform exclusives they could just not allow you to transfer your character until you have a non-platform exclusive equipped in all slots. Or even better, treat platform exclusives as purchases and allow them to appear on the other platform. You just couldn't earn them on that platform.

I think Sony and Microsoft should also be considered when it comes down to who's responsible for no cross-family character transfer, not just Bungie.
