Unfortunately, I got never get into the Borderlands Mad-Maxian schtick. It's a shame because I bought both for the 360 when they were on sale. I guess it's good because I don't need another game I don't have time to play.

For me, there are four games coming that I'm sure will push Destiny aside for a bit, Mirror's Edge, Halo 5, Uncharted 4 (if only to see what Druckmann and co. do with it), and maybe No Man's Sky.

EDIT: Possibly the Division, too.

Mirror's Edge is going to be fantastic. The people working on it really seem to get how special the original was.

Please dont mess up Mirrors Edge, please please PLEASE

published by EA

Key phrase, right there. They're not the devlopers. Also, the original Mirror's Edge was published by EA, and it was pretty OK.

Um, it is. Sorry, Charlie.

Timed Exclusive

At least according to the always accurate Wikipedia.

Now, no release dates have been confirmed, so who knows exactly when the PS4 will have it, and how long after that it'll hit PC. But at least it's not a Halo-sort-of-exclusive.

I know this is weird, but I really hated the loot in BL. Picked up too much trash and had a hard time making quick decisions about what I did and did not want combined with a small inventory leading to a lot of heading back to town to sell things.

I generally don't like loot games, but Destiny makes it relatively painless in comparison.

Do we have to start over? Or can we bring in our characters from 360?

Avatar

Also, for the low, low price of $399, you can get an RC controlled Claptrap!

I switched from 360 to PS4 midway through Borderlands 2, and never finished it. We probably can't important cross-platform characters, can we?

from the link i posted:

"Already started Borderlands 2 and/or Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita or Xbox 360? Good news: using cross-save functionality, you’ll be able to continue where you left off by transferring your prior-gen save including your leveled up characters and Badass Rank to your next-gen console! (Note that cross-save will only work within the same console family – e.g., Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PlayStation 3/Vita to PlayStation 4)."
