If she dies before the final room, does it end the strike?

Not in my experience. Maybe in the last hallway up the hill? If you kill her in the first hallway before the 2 wizards and the ogre, it doesn't end the strike.

What happens after you kill her in the first hallway? Do you just need to fight your way to the final room & then the strike ends, or is the strike now bugged & won't end?

It goes on as normal. Same encounter at the end.
