Kneepads (Destiny)

Since they apply to every gun equipped, anyone found some neat uses? Hard Light and Universal Remote get a great boost from them. Hard Light specifically is even more of a joy.
Currently experimenting with HMGs. Initial results promising.

I thought it was only when you had that gun equipped? Considering how heavily I rely on sliding to escape round corners wgen things go wrong, I wish I'd known this sooner.
Never really seen the need for them offensively though.

With Hard Light, it's nice in PvE. Slide past that corner and tear 'em up before the AI can react. It also just feels nice.

Early on in the game I had a shotgun with kneepads. It helped me with those obnoxious slides with a blast to the chest.
