I used to think my calming was great in crucible, due to its snappiness and quick charge time. And it's always done me very well. I think I may have found a new love though…

This thing has insane range and stability! The charge time is a little more, but I really think it makes up for that after the kills I'm seeing myself get in iron banner. Distances I never thought were possible. I might have to make a highlight reel.

After trying a bunch out, I think the medium charge time rifles like this suit me a little better given I use hand cannons and try to stay a longer distance away anyway. If I could find a good one with these kind of stats but with a shorter charge time, I'd give it a go (perhaps a good roll on a new Perun's fire). Longer charge times just aren't really viable in crucible. This feels like the sweet spot for me, and it's a gun that will make you angry.

Praetorian Foil with "Send it" is probably the best fusion rifle in the game in terms of pure stats, though I never use it.

Final Rest 2 is still my favorite. Range, charge time, and ammo count are all excellent, and it has nearly zero recoil, so I've outwit people at range with it.

Light of the Abyss is one of the easiest top-tier Fusion rifles to obtain, and it has some pretty great stats.

Same goes for the Plug One, it seems, though I've never used one myself, so I couldn't say.

I have a Calming with enhanced battery that works well, but Light of the Abyss really rips things up and seems to have better impact.

I never spent much time in Crucible, but when I did my weapon of choice was LIGHT/Beware, for the same reasons. The range and stability were extremely high (and the Vanguard vendor's version had rangefinder), and consequently it was capable of one-shot kills from MUCH further away than most other fusion rifles, just because you could actually land most of the burst on target.

I've used a void plug.one I got as a drop to great success. It's stats are better in most ways than the light of the abyss. It's got great range and stability, and a medium charge time.

I'm with Korny on the Final Rest II; mine has the same perks as your purifier but with accelerated coils, flared magwell, and send it, and I generally find that it's a good multitool for any situation.

If you can roll a Perun's fire with Red Dot ORS1, Hip Fire, and Hammer Forged or Perfect Balance, that's the best legendary FR for crucible. It's charge time is already ludicrous, and with the range perks, you've basically got a legendary Plan C.

But if you're playing crucible with an FR I'd say just use Plan C or PI as a primary.

I trade it in almost every chance I get now. You will get 2+ kills every heavy drop.

I still use it when I can't use my Plan C.
