My favorite PvP MG is a green... (Destiny)

I normally use either a Swarm or Thunderlord as my PvP machine gun. I really like slow firing, hard hitting machine guns. The other day I got a green Xerxes-C. If you haven't used one, they have very low rate of fire and each round hits like a flying dump truck. This one has the focused fire upgrade, which causes it to hit even harder. It can 2-shot on headshots or 3-shot otherwise. With a 23 round magazine I can get at least 7 kills per magazine and I get 2 1/2 mags per heavy drop. I tried it out tonight and after the first drop I was able to use it continuously until the end of the match. Last time I used a Xerxes was in the beta, but now I need to find one for each character.

Huh. Didn't know it would do that well in Crucible. I wish I had a Legendary HMG with Focus-Fire. Is it even possible?

Hmmm... I know legendary autorifles can't have that perk. Not really sure if the rule applies to HMGs as well, but I don't recall ever seeing one.

"Bronzed Thutmose-D" is the name. More than double the stability of the Hammer, with only a slight reduction to range and a lower magazine size (though my roll came with Extended Mag). It also comes with the Persistence perk, so the accuracy never suffers (only gets better). It's a pretty scary gun.

Also, if you have a Hammer, but you're using a Thunderlord, you're wasting your Exotic slot. The Hammer is a better gun (and you can get your preferred perks, too!)
