Iron Banner 5.0 - Lessons Learned (Destiny)
With Iron Banner 5.0 Coming to a close tonight what are the lessons you learned while playing this time?
1. I enjoy playing crucible/IB as a Hunter. As a warlock Main this is my first time really running crucible as a hunter and I loved it. A gunslinger fits my play style way more than my warlock does. I like to hang back and snipe so the golden gun is great for quickly dispatching people who get too close. having to jump instead of glide made me approach maps differently also.
2. Rocket Launchers are fun in crucible. I reforged my Radegast's Fury to have Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades, Field Scout, Spray and Play. I'm usually a Machine Gun user in crucible but having an awesome point and shoot rocket launcher was a blast.
3. Iron Banner weapons are worth grinding for. Being able to reforge a weapon to perfection makes me feel that the weapons I have are really mine. They have become legend in my mind.
4. Playing as team is always better than going lone wolf. I already knew this... but it becomes way more apparent in Iron Banner when you either steam roll the enemies or they do the same, all because of teamwork.

I think part of this is the fact that if you're in with a group and you get down by 3k early, your group won't leave you there to die alone. If you play with randoms they'll all bounce as soon as things start looking minutely difficult.

I get more points on my hunter.
I get a higher K/D ratio on my titan.
The two classes play sooooo differently. It's really interesting to me, actually, now that I feel well versed in both for PvP.

STOP CAPTURING A!!!
I'm going to make a new website: stopcapturingA.com
Seriously, the best strategy for every Iron Banned map is to capture B & C, ignore A :)

STOP CAPTURING A!!!
Sometimes you have to use a little tough love.

Firebase Delphi
You want point A on Firebase Delphi. This is clearly a bug. Bungie should change the names of Points A and C to correctly relate to the players how to play this map.

STOP CAPTURING A!!!
The only thing worse that people capping A on Blind Watch are people who DEFEND A!

Another benefit of a team is that you can convince all 6 people to storm C on Shores of Time right away if you spawn by A.

Agreed.

The correct call there is "BUM RUSH CHARLIE!!!!!!!" And then valiantly die in the caves as the whole team swings through the stone room
