Doing the ole Tuesday night raid, and there were 4 of us in, all was going well.

Beorn and Narc jump in, and I get a beaver error and a quail error. I try everything I can do with my dumpy connection to get it to start working correctly. Every time I join in, I get a beaver and quail error.

One time, I jump in, and the guys were waiting for me, and finished the section while I was still in the loading screen, so I got gloves and energy, but I just couldn't join the game!

Told them I quit and to get ChrisTheeCrappy in. I played solo for a bit and helped a couple dudes through another raid. We 5 manned Ir Yut having the worst possible equipment, Warbow had to go so he missed the Crota kill, but Blackstar replaced him, and I think he got Plan C again. Then I showered, came back, and kept getting beaver errors loading any public area, so I quit, disgusted. Internet works fine now though.

Those're my highlights for Tuesday. Bad times.

Highlights since last Tuesday:

Did a 360 Vault of Glass Hard raid with Up North, Nico, Wu, Ragashingo, and Lawnmower, I think. We kicked major ass all the way through Atheon, though I was not able to talk to anyone, pretty much. Turns out you can communicate reasonably well through bullets. I have a new microphone now and it works.

But, we must have blown a solid 90 minutes on that Atheon checkpoint. We got very close a few times, but just couldn't get it done. Major suck, and I don't know why. It just wasn't working right for us. Maybe the oracles, I don't know.

Half of us tried it again a couple nights later, and still couldn't do it.

Took that checkpoint to the Xbox One, and we did it 3 times in about 45 minutes. I literally don't know what we did on the One that we didn't do on the 360. As I stated in the FTB page, if CougRon got more exotics, he'd be banned from future raids, due to his annoying streak of exotic drops lately. Quote, from the man himself after the results:

So Funkmon said that if I got an exotic in tonight's Atheon checkpoint that I would not longer be allowed to Raid. Poor me. I did not get just an exotic, I got three. Truth and Vex Mythoclast on my spartan during the first run through (plus an Atheon's Epilogue, my first primary non-exotic weapon drop from the Vault), and then a Hard Light during the second one with my Warlock. These are all second drops for me. I've had my first Truth and Hard Light for a while, but my first Vex was only last week.

After months of not getting much of anything, the rain of exotics the last few weeks has been amazing. Can't wait to see what happens next...

It turns out I don't have the capability of IP banning him, so that sucks.

Also, I was looking for maybe me taking a clip of something this week, but I didn't. What I did find was this thing. Some guy during a Hard Mode raid a while back ended up creating over TWENTY orbs on my screen.

Got some engagements planned later in the week but last week was pretty full. Like funk mentioned we had a hard time finishing off Atheon, I think we weren't able to dps the oracles quick enough. We ran Mrs oholiab jr. through crotas for her first time and we only wiped to reset the thrawlway. Some of us stuck around after that to finish Atheon hard and chickens friend hobo, on his first hard attempt, got vex to drop. Raga got one as well but was a little quieter abut it. Monday chickens and I learned that 2 manning the abyss on hard is harder than soloing it. It's fun now that the 360 group is getting fully leveled and good at all aspects of both raids that we can have an impromptu runs and not worry abut it taking up the whole night. Oh and it's not raid related but my final nightfall and weekly total was 16 full runs and 2 partials.
