The level 12 didn't help... :p

And yet, did better than half the team.
Come on randoms, step yo game up.

If it makes you feel better, I've never played that map.
I get disconnected every time. I want to so bad.
Anyway, I'd always done it mostly alone until today, when me, nico, and North played a couple games, and slowly gathered a 6 man team just in time for nico to bail and raid with Mig. I bet they got good stuff too. :(
It really changes everything. We won most of the time. Despite my above 1 K/D, my crucible control record has been around 40% wins. I don't think I want to solo it ever again.

I went in with 1 friend...
Technically it's my personal best for both kills and points in a game. The fact that it happened during Iron Banner is just the icing on the cake.

Level 12
I guess he mostly got points from capturing control points?

Well, technically, the level 12 couldn't have gone in alone.
And look what happened to him! You just can't win!

And THIS... is why you don't go into IB alone.

Did you see the screenshot Datto posted yesterday? He got 40 kills and still lost because of his horrible teammates.
I really wonder about Destiny's matchmaking. I know Bungie is trying to maintain fast mm times and quality connections, but the skill-based player selection feels almost non-existent. When I go in solo I'll often go through stretches of 5-8 losses in a row, with me being the only person on my team with a positive K/D (against an enemy team where nobody goes negative). That kind of thing should happen rarely, if ever. But in Destiny it happens all the time :-/

This is usually indicative of an insuffcient pool of players, but because Bungie doesn't surface those numbers (or ANY numbers for that matter) like they did in Halo, it's impossible to tell if this is the actual cause.

Story Of My Freaking Life.
