Since there is no post, Xur is selling the Titan Boots, Mask of the Third Man, Apotheosis Veil and Hard Light. Exotic engram is helmet.

Some of you may know that Hard Light is the only exotic gun I don't have. MotTM and Apotheosis Veil are the only 2 helmets I don't have! I only need Ruin Wings now (if only I had the strange coin that week). Crappy is a happy guy today.

Finished my Armour collection with Dire Ahamkara from Xur a fortnight ago, and finished my raid gear collection last week. Sooooooo close.

Still need those Iron Banner chests and non-existent helmets, mind you :/

Pretty much the same story for me. Hard Light isn't the last one in my case (off the top of my head, I know I'm still missing Thunderlord), but these are all items I currently don't have. Just need to decide which ones are most important, and go shopping.

Luckily, I had 160 Strange Coins (and haven't run anything this week) as since I missed Ruined Wings, I have been running all 3 characters, and Xur never has shit I need.

luckily i got the crux on like my 3rd hard raid completion, but I didn't even have the husk of the pit upgraded yet, that took me a few weeks cause it was so bad I didn't want to use. I have a second husk to upgrade, incase I want that style but don't want to waste an exotic (Nechrocasom perks are not that good relative to Ediolon Ally)

So I nabbed two engrams since I had the motes. Care to guess what I was rewarded with for each of them? I am the happiest! And I can nab exotic shards instead! Huzzah!

(I'm passing on the legs, though. Just... doesn't thrill me.)

Every time I've bought them I've noticed that I always get whatever he was selling anyway.

Example: The first time he had Saint-14 helmet, and an exotic helmet engram. I didn't want the Saint helmet at the time, so I decided to take a chance on an engram instead. Cash in my engram, and get the Saint helm anyway.

This seems to happen to me whenever I buy an engram from him, that it decodes into whatever he was selling for coins anyway (though sometimes the ones that decode have BETTER stats, so that is cool)

I'm wondering if the engrams aren't as random as they appear and are there as a sort of option for gamers who maybe want that helmet that xur is selling, but don't have enough coins for it, but they might have enough motes to roll the dice on an engram.

I think it's more that there aren't that many types of exotic armor and when you narrow it down to a specific type (helmet, arms, chest, legs) you have a fairly decent chance to get what he was selling within a few rolls.

I had an old Apotheosis Veil with an abysmal roll (84 max), so this was the perfect way to get a 36 light version.

I believe the only three exotics I lack are Hawkmoon, 4th Horseman, and Voidfang Vestments. I give zero shits about 4th Horseman, but the Hawkmoon and Voidfang Vestments would definitely be something I'd use.

Damn, still no Hawkmoon? I would have thought ti would have a better chance since it's exclusive to give people the reason to WANT the Playstation versions. Here's to hoping you get it before we get it. God I hope Xur sells it that weekend.

I'm not trying to get it anymore. I'm just going to buy it and 4th horseman when Xur sells it to everyone when it's made available to the Xbox Player.

Agreed. One week I decided to spend all my motes. I got 4 helmets, none of them were on sale that week. Only two of them could be worn by my squad of Titans :(

Now all I need is a Suros and my collection is complete.
