Would you pay $19.99 for physical set of Grimoire cards? (Destiny)
So, let's say you get all of them and they're good quality.
Some dude on Reddit asked that. Just wondering if we nutjobs would do it. I would, probably. Excellent toilet reading. Plus, I'd love to do tarot readings with these bad boys.

i would

If I had the spare cash? In a heartbeat. I use tarot cards to create characters for stories sometimes, and it would be boss to use something other than the Dishonored or M:tA deck I have.

No, BUT...

I would spend 20 bucks on a proper Grimoire. Like a nice book with all the entries collected. Maybe in a coffe-table book format.

Oh, that's a good one. Who would buy the coffee table book?

I would.

I still love my collection of Final Fantasy VIII Triple Triad cards. Had just enough to play with a friend.

This needs to be saved so that it can be used out of context at some point in the future.

Indeed. :p

I've always just assumed anything you write on the Internet is forgotten and erased a few days later, with nothing ever coming back to bite you. Seems like a safe approach... Anyways, I think you got enough of my first-draft, un-revised ramblings the other day.

If the past is Friday and the L in LAN stands for lunch, you're 100% correct.

A++, I love Triple Triad. (And FFVIII in general, but I know I'm the minority.) I was not aware they'd made physical cards, though.
Hrm. TO GOOGLE!

Debating whether I like VII or VIII more is still something I do to pass the time all these years later. :)
My comic store sold trading card packs around its release. You'd get some traditional screenshot and render cards, then a few Triple Triads. I remember buying packs just to build up the card game.

I'd say something like this would be good. 20 bucks is definitely too much for a stack of cards, especially if they're just copies of the stuff that exists already. A sort of art-book thing would be better.
Would I get max grimoire score?

I actually tried to see how hard it would be to do this, and then realized the pictures are high enough quality and gave up :)
I can buy a novel for $5.99. Why would I spend almost four times that amount for about 20 pages of a disjointed collection of half-stories that only semi-relate to a game I already spent $85 on?
