Made me giggle... (Destiny)

Since I've gained a few new weapons over the past few weeks, I've almost completely run out of room on my characters and in my Vault. So I decided to look through my inventory and see if there was anything I could live without. I discovered I had 5 LDRs... 3 Solar and 2 arc. I had been keeping 1 solar LDR on each of my characters as my primary Sniper Rifle (when I'm not using Ice Breaker), I I've recently picked up a Black Hammer and The Chosen. So I decided to keep my favorite solar LDR, and shard the other 2.

Immediately afterwards, I took a bunch of engrams to the Cryptarch, cashed them in, and received a purple missive, gave it to the postmaster and... BAM: another LDR.

I laughed, and was about to shard it too, when I noticed this one had void damage. I guess I have the entire set now :D

I giggled when you fired a rocket at the gatekeeper, and I decided to put up the relic shield thinking you could use a cleanse. Guardian Down.

I could tell cyber was not as amused.

Hopefully you didn't mind. :-p

Oh, that gave me a BIG laugh. "Look guys, I'm helping!" Boom!

I swear, I could hear Cyber's eyelid twitch ;p

I thought it was sadly hilarious the number of times I'd blown myself up with a rocket during the templar. I could tell Cyber didn't agree when he suggested I stop using rockets ;P I'll admit, one time was a legitimate error on my part, "I think I can get two off before the detain bubbles." Derp. The other times I thought I had made it through without a detain bubble only to have one appear just as I fired a rocket. It seemed like those detain bubbles were taking a VERY LONG time to appear.

You probably already know this, but if you want to fire a rocket at the Templar, you're supposed to fire it as the relic holder says "1" (when counting down before firing his super at the Templar's shield. Obviously, the counting down is mainly to make sure no one is jumping when he pops it (so they don't fall through a detainment bubble and insta-die), but it also makes it a lot easier to fire one gjallarhorn rocket at the Templar right before your detainment bubble appears, and then snipe him in the face once your bubble is gone.

Yeah, you're perfectly fine as long as you fire it before his shields drop, even a split second after. As I said, every time I died due to my own rocket (except the one derp move I already mentioned) was because I thought I HADN'T been detained. I'd fire my first rocket, swap to my primary to pop the bubble, wait a bit & see I didn't get a detain bubble, swap back, fire my rocket & pow, the detain bubble would show up.

Ultimately my deaths last night stemmed from me trying to rush it so we could fit in a crota run. I would have done much better if I had just relaxed and taken it easy.

EDIT: And I can't fire a stinking Gjallarhorn as I don't have one. Maybe I'll just use my Hawkmoon instead. ;)

I actually wait until I see the relic blast is about to hit the Templar's shields. That way I know his shield is going down 100% for sure. All too often I hear "5...4...3...2...1 (rockets fire)........ Crap, I missed"
;p

Yeah. Even just because of inacurate time estimation I wait for visual confirmation. Never killed myself so there is plenty of time.

Also, that vault expansion can't come soon enough. Not only do I have many multiples I can't even deal with them efficiently because the vault is full. My postmaster is more of an escrow agency.
