If I was a teenager back in the states my parents would probably have kicked me out of the house for this level of laziness.

In this country though, moving at a leisurely pace is a way of life. It doesn't matter where you go, restaurants, banks, pharmacies and even hospitals. People just do things at their own pace.

The first time I went to a supermarket here I literally spent over an hour in line to checkout. There were about 5 or 6 people ahead of me. I've never seen anything like it in my life. I commented that if this was America someone would have gone postal having to wait so long for something like that.
