Does Mercury (the Burning Shrine) have a day-night cycle? (Destiny)

I've only ever seen the sun in one position. Granted, it does take over two orbital periods for a single "day" to pass, but the cycles on other planets are are obviously accelerated...

A day on mercury is something like 58 earth days, and it orbits the sun every 88 days.

If it did cycle, then it'd be -279.67 degrees F at night, and 700 during the day. I still can't really fathom how play on it is at all possible, seeing as how even in Destiny it's a dead world with no influence from the traveler.

It's a Vex world. They clearly aren't immune to high temperatures, so maybe those giant floating towers have something to do with controlling temperature...
