What's in that Legendary engram? Check the fine print... (Destiny)
Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones right in front of your face. Thanks, B.net.
Don't want to go to b.net? You bum. I'll summarize: Have you ever gotten a legendary engram, only to have the cryptarc decrypt it into a shard, leaving you wondering "why god, why?"
Not all legendary engrams are created equal.
Read the fine print.
Depending on your disposition, you can now be excited or disappointed before you even go back to the tower :D
(disclaimer: there is always still a chance you could get something better)

Uhh... Which one is which?
Also, that is a lot of ships.

Uhh... Which one is which?
According to the OP the ones that explicitly say "decrypt to _____ Weapon" have a much greater chance of ACTUALLY turning into a weapon.
The other kind tend to turn into Shard\energy\coin.
It kinda makes sense as to why I seem to get what I get. YMMV.

1/1 so far.
Got a legendary from a cryptarch package today. Had "Cryptarch can reveal it's contents" in the description. Turned into shards.
This is an interesting, if not entirely useful revelation.

1/1 so far.
Curious- which one worked for you? The one that leans material, or the one that leans weapon?
It will be awhile before I get 2 of the same kind of legendary engrams to test :P
