Look, these threads are just never going to be posted on time. Let's accept that and move on ;p

Some great times raiding this week already. First, there was our Vault of Glass hard mode run on Wednesday. We once again managed to kill the Templar without letting him teleport. Amazing what a combination of Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn, and Cyber running the relic can do ;)

But the real highlight of the raid for me was the jump puzzle. I decided to try an alternate approach:

Next up, we ran 2 Crota normal raids last night. First half of our first run was a comedy of errors. We made it through most of the abyss with weight of darkness x10 on us. TheeChaos ended up being the only one to safely make it out, and just barely thanks to a surprise Ogre that appeared at the last moment.

The bridge was even worse (as in "funnier"). Cyber and I were the first 2 across. Suddenly, everything started going wrong for the 4 left behind. Every time they got into position to build the bridge, someone would die again.

"Ok, revive me! Revive ME!"

"I gotcha"

"Ok, we're good. We're good. Everyone ready?"

"I've got top. Art, go to the middle. Ok let's go!"

*Guardian down*

*laughter*

It went on like this for a solid 5 minutes or so. Luckily, the hive majors on the far side kept dropping heavy ammo. Between my Gjallarhorn and Cyber's Ice Breaker, we were able to hold out until everyone got across :)

Then we got to the Deathsinger and took her down about as quickly as I've ever seen.

The best part was that I was the only one who actually saw her drop (and with no mic, I couldn't tell anyone). The rest of the group started to get nervous when they couldn't find her. They eventually noticed me frantically dancing in the corner and figured it out ;p

Finally, there was our 2nd Deathsinger takedown on the night, during which I went full Leroy and took down both Wizards and both shriekers before getting chopped down by a knight:

At one point, Cyber said "Cruel, what are you doing?"

"Being awesome..." I whispered into my dormant headset. "I'm being awesome, Cyber"
