Guess what dropped for me last night? (Destiny)

Suros Regime. And human nature being what it is, I was slightly disappointed to find out it was on sale this morning (only slightly--now I can easily have it on two platforms).

Rarity = value. Our covetous nature leads us to make irrational posts on forums.

If you are referring to who I think you are, his posts aren't irrational, though I would agree if you called them irritating. He has legitimate points, the problem is that we've all heard them and he won't shut the hell up about them.

Legitimate points in the sense that he wants a game that is different than what Destiny is, which is a game that was designed in part around random loot drops, as has been evident since the E3 demo.

What I find irrational is all the energy and emotion tied to getting a single gun. As I've said several times, I can't relate. (I can relate to wanting a particular gun, but not to feeling bitter about not having it.)

^^ That is why he (and others) play the game wrong. Someone will probably argue that it's Bungie's fault for making the gun so attractive or alluring, as if it is "THE" gun to have in Destiny (I've tried one out, it's fun, but it's not be-all-end-all).

I'm not disagreeing with you, but having seen some DBOer's last weekend who've NOT been on the forum in months ask me if anything has changed post-wise on DBO the answer was a resounding "No".

Far too much energy is wasted lamenting this game that would be better spent enjoying other games, until changes are either made or new content is out.

HINT HINT.

I'm here because I'm still enjoying the game and don't want to put it down (plus, I like the community), and I don't think I'm alone in that.

It's kind of a bummer if frequent posters who are unhappy with the game have kept people who are happy away. I'd like to tell those people to come back. Don't let the complainers win!
