I don't spend much of my time playing in Radiance.

Do you only save radiance for when you die? If so, you should try this chest plus radiant skin and use your super soon after it charges. You're tougher, you get flame shield with every melee, and you throw a ton of grenades. It's a great offensive weapon. Don't just use the super as a revive tool.
