Suppresion Grenade (Destiny)

Here's a little clip of the awesomeness of a suppresion grenade :)

I must say, this last week during Iron banner, it was extremely useful. I was really impressed with how much damage it dealt. Up to 170 against LvL 32's and even higher against lower ranks. It felt much more like an old school Halo frag with the ability to bounce around corners and down ledges. I think I racked up more consistent frag kills than with any other grenade I've used and that is a big surpise. Not to mention the side effect of no supers/melee/grenade being used against you for 10 seconds.

Here's another video where a suppresion grenade helps with the kill. If you pause around the 5 second mark, there is a flash where you can see the 170 damage. I'd post a screen shot, but I'm being lazy.

I'm actually surprised how little I run up against this grenade in crucible, considering how powerful it is. I guess most people just prefer sticky 'nades.

That's what I run when I run a defender (not often). I like the certainty that I just stuck someone and they will die no matter what happens next.

I'm pretty sure that isn't always true unfortunately. At least as a Sunsinger I'm confident that I have stuck people and them popping a super or something keeps them alive. That or getting some sort of shield.

Yep, I've totally stuck a warlock, and he snipe melee'ed me before it went off to save his life.

True, sometimes activating a super can be enough to save a player from instant death. Also, apparently if you use blink you can jump away from the sticky grenade!

That just added one more reason why blinking is so OP when playing a titan in PvP...

Suppression grenade aside, that was genius strategy in the second clip. Was very impressed.
